PokeBonk version watch
The official client displayed Beta v0.8.26 when checked in English on October 23, 2026. This site treats every new client version as a reason to recheck controls, modes, partner text, Lab costs and move rules before updating factual claims.
Observed in the English official client, 2026-10-23.
Current verified signal
The version number is taken from the live official main menu in English. The same session exposed the current main client, data requests and a build marker timestamped October 23, but the guide uses the visible Beta v0.8.26 label rather than treating an asset suffix as a public version API.
What a version change triggers
A manual update pass compares the homepage version, public data asset URLs and guide claims. Pages that contain old screenshots or creator footage keep their original capture date instead of being silently relabeled as current.
- Recheck current controls and mode descriptions.
- Recheck starter and ability text.
- Recheck Lab costs and caps before publishing a table.
- Recount fusions only from a directly verified official rule set.
